Buki — Weapons
Buki means \u201cweapon.\u201d Bujinkan training preserves classical weapons of the nine schools — the six-foot staff (bo), the short staff (hanbo), the Japanese sword (katana), the tanto (knife), and others — taught as extensions of the empty-hand body principles. Weapons training sharpens distance, timing, and precision, and in turn improves empty-hand technique. At Zero Point Ocala, weapons appear as students advance in the curriculum, always taught from the same principles of natural movement and body structure.
